I won’t complain. Papa Joes on Cicero Ave in Oak Lawn had some tastey thin crust pizza. My wife and I went on a whim because a curch member worked there. Surprisingly, the place was packed. Turns out tuesday is some type of buy one get one free on their pastas special. Additionally had we bought our pizza on Monday for take out 1/2 price.
I was impressed by the quality of their cheese and sausage. Their pizza sauce was not thick yet it was very delicious, I wonder if it was fresh? There cheese was tastey too. That is what impressed my wife (me also).

So I’ve been waiting for fast and easy vitalization of XP, better WiFi support, and Supend and Hibernate to work before I started using Linux full time. I finally found out why my suspend was coming back with a blank screen.

Basically, one needs to tell the system to redraw the screen on resume.

I used the following and it worked for me, thanks sean!
$ sudo gedit /etc/default/acpi-support
SAVE_VBE_STATE=false
POST_VIDEO=false
USE_DPMS=false
then
$ sudo gedit /etc/acpi/suspend.d/03-nvidia-override-post.sh
Make the script look like the following:
#!/bin/sh
SAVE_VBE_STATE=false
POST_VIDEO=false
USE_DPMS=false

So, does anyone else feel like pumping out resumes in an effort to “play the numbers game” is a social & unnecessary exercise in waste. I feel like as if enough people exist who got the bad idea they would just apply to any job or every job they could work as to create a situation where the most aggressive job hunters are rewarded instead of the most qualified. Lord Charles Darwin would be affronted by the use of his principia to justify such survival of the most aggressive behaviors.
I sense a rebellious idea approaching to sooth my irksome aforementioned feeling. Ah, it’s gone thwarted by my own realization that the concept could be undermined by untrustworthy individuals. My idea was of a managed way to prevent or identify spamiculum vitae. Many other problems arise as I think of the consequences of such a system. There is a lesson to be learned in that policy/institutes/structure/laws should only be passed after careful study of their logical consequences. As opposed to soothing irksome feelings of social bodies driven by what is felt is urgent instead of important.
Sigh… Off we go.

So this is the first post to my first socially sanctioned blog. I had a web journal I made myself back at college but other than that I have left a surprising small impact on the content of the internet considering I am a Computer Scientist.
Let’s just say I mostly mount /dev/internet with options read-only.
